Members of the Kentucky Medical Association share a mission of commitment to the profession and service to the residents of the commonwealth across both rural and urban areas. From solo practitioners to academicians to large, multi-specialty groups, KMA is the only state association representing every specialty and type of medical practice in Kentucky.
The House of Delegates, KMA’s legislative body, meets during the KMA Annual Meeting. The House of Delegates sets the policy and direction of the Association that is carried out through commissions/committees. The KMA Board of Trustees is the executive body of the Association and exercises power of the House between meetings of the House.
The Kentucky Medical Association works in partnership with many county medical societies. Membership in the KMA and your county medical society are unified. Below are links to some of the societies. Contact KMA for information on other county medical societies.
