KMA encourages members to tune in to The Wellness Shift: A KET Forum, which premiered Monday, Sept. 29. The one-hour program was sponsored by KMA and inspired by the KMA and KFMC’s Small STEPS, Big Impact campaign. The episode explores how small, evidence-based lifestyle changes can lead to meaningful improvements in health across Kentucky.
Produced as part of the KET Forums series, the show brings together physicians, including KMA leaders Fred Williams, M.D., and Angela Dearinger, M.D., as well as health and wellness experts from across the state, to discuss actionable strategies in nutrition, daily movement, stress management, and chronic disease prevention. It is designed to be practical and inspiring, not overwhelming—highlighting how small changes can yield big results. The program also showcases success stories, which feature KMA member Casey Miles, M.D., a Bowling Green pediatrician and KPLI graduate, and Bridget Hittepole, M.D., who leads the Louisville chapter of “Walk With a Doc.”
