2026 KMA Annual Meeting

KMA members are encouraged to register for the 2026 Annual Meeting, to be held August 22-23 at the Louisville Marriott East.

The event will include the Meet the Mandates education sessions, which allow physicians to obtain the subject matter specific mandated Continuing Medical Education (CME) before the end of the three-year cycle. The weekend will also include the KMA House of Delegates, elections for the KMA Board of Trustees, as well as opportunities for networking and socializing.

The theme of this year’s meeting is “Kentucky Physicians: At the Heart of Impact.” The theme reflects the Association’s 2025–2026 public health campaign, “Small STEPS, Big Impact,” and emphasizes that physicians are central to progress in healthcare. It recognizes that meaningful change does not come from a single moment, but from the consistent, everyday decisions physicians make in caring for patients, advocating for change, and leading their communities.

The format of the Annual Meeting will once again include a virtual Reference Committee Meeting, which will be held prior to the meeting on Saturday, August 15 at 9:00 a.m. ET via Zoom.

This year’s CME sessions will provide education on mandated requirements including domestic violence and “House Bill One.” HB1 education will feature sessions on methamphetamine treatment, cannabis, polypharmacy and much more.
