Learn With Me: Exploring Pediatric Medicine

Course Description:

This activity will address the importance of diagnosis and treatment of pediatric medicine.  Education will also focus on current treatment protocols including vaccines and positive efforts to address mental health in the pediatric population. 

Statement of Need:

The treatment of the pediatric population is multi-faceted.  Family physicians, urgent care, hospitalists and emergency physicians may serve as a primary pediatric contact in underserved areas or in rural counties where physician shortages exist.

Objectives:

  • Describe common diagnosis, evaluation and treatment considerations in the pediatric population.
