The Kentucky Department for Public Health is committed to protecting the health of all people in our commonwealth, including through vaccines. We continue to encourage that all infants be offered hepatitis B vaccination within 24 hours of birth and that all infants complete the full 3-dose vaccine series by 18 months of age, as is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Association of Family Physicians.
