The KMA’s Advocacy Award is presented to individuals who have effected positive change in the healthcare space through their advocacy efforts. KMA recently honored two individuals with the 2023 Advocacy Award: Representative Kim Moser and Senator Danny Carroll.
Through their steadfast dedication and visionary leadership, Rep. Moser and Sen. Carroll have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to championing health policy that prioritizes the well-being of patients and advances the practice of medicine. Their persistent efforts, informed decisions, and strategic leadership during the 2023 legislative session paved the way for ensuring accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare for all Kentuckians. In addition, both legislators had 100% alignment with their votes on KMA priorities during the 2023 session. They embody the true essence of public service and are most deserving of the 2023 KMA Advocacy Award.
