Koenig, M.D., FASA, Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs and Professor, Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine and Academic Advisory Dean, University of Louisville School of Medicine, and Editor, Journal of Medical Regulation, Federation of State Medical Boards, received the 2022 Distinguished Service Award “in recognition of the highest level of service, commitment, and contribution to the Federation of State Medical Boards; the advancement of the profession of medical licensure and discipline; and the strengthening and enhancement of public protection.”
