The Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH) is now accepting pre-orders for pediatric COVID-19 vaccines for those 6 months and older that is expected to received FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). Ordering is available to all providers currently enrolled in the Kentucky COVID-19 Vaccine Program.
Pfizer-BioNTech has submitted data for a 3-dose primary series for children ages 6 months through 4 years. Moderna has submitted data for a 2-dose primary series for children ages 6 months through 5 years. Please submit your pre-order request at https://redcap.link/BabyPedsCovid19Preorder. KDPH is accepting pre-orders for both vaccines.
There is a minimum pre-order quantity of 100 doses per vaccine. Pre-orders will begin shipping as soon as the EUA is issued. Doses should not be administered until the ACIP and CDC recommendations are issued.
