Despite ongoing challenges related to the pandemic, and an initial focus on budget issues and redistricting, the KMA advocacy team wrapped up another successful legislative session last month. Three KMA-priority bills crossed the finish line to become law. They include:
- Lung Cancer Screening (House Bill 219)
- Compassionate Patient Support (House Bill 529)
- Healthcare Workforce (House Bill 573)
